POSITION DESCRIPTIONS

 

A listing of our employment positions with their respective descriptions is provided below. While J. F. Fick, Inc. can not guarentee any of the positions are available, you can apply for any of them by downloading the two page application or using our online application. Qualified candidates, in certain positions must have a good driving record, be willing to work long hours, and have the ability to frequently lift 20-50 lbs. Prior beverage delivery experience preferred but not mandatory.

 

Sales Representative Trainee
In-training position for a Delivery / Merchandiser or Sales Rep position. Employee will complete all route functions when assigned Rep. is on vacation or sick; will assist Reps. in sales/delivery functions, and develop skills toward attaining own route. CDL Learner’s Permit required; CDL will be required within a given time-frame.

 

Sales Representative
Fully responsible for all sales functions in most accounts. Deliver product to select pre-sold account using orders generated by Pre-Sales personnel; merchandise accounts. CDL required.

 

On-Premise ARM / Trainer
Will assume job responsibilities of On-Premise Sales Reps and Team Leaders during absence/vacation. Also responsible for training of respective personnel in areas of sales, merchandising and delivery, as well as ABC/Company policies. Strong communication and sales skills required. CDL required.

 

ARM / Trainer
Will assume job responsibilities of Pre-Salesman and Delivery/Merchandiser during absence/vacation. Also responsible for training of respective personnel in areas of sales, merchandising and delivery, as well as ABC/Company policies. Strong communication and sales skills required. CDL required.

 

Floating Route Manager
Primarily fills in for both Delivery-Merchandisers and Pre-Salesmen during absences, and assists Team Leaders with market projects as needed. The Floating Route Manager will work under the direction of the Market Coordinator. Requires a Class-A CDL; experience, strong understanding of our business/market; knowledge of the D/M and P/S positions, and ability to perform all functions of both jobs as needed. Aggressive sales and merchandising approach preferred.

 

On-Premise Sales Representative
Draft and package route; fully responsible for all sales functions. CDL required.

 

Pre-Sell Account Manager
Responsible for primary sales functions in retail accounts. Inventory and order products; convey promotions & sales info. to retailers; rotate and fill coolers from back-stock; monitor prices; merchandise; sell in displays, new items, shelf space, etc. Fix breakage. Strong communication & selling skills required. Must be capable of running assigned routes or assisting Delivery-Merchandisers as needed. CDL required.

 

Off-Premise Team Leader
Oversee a Sales team of Pre-Salesmen, Delivery-Merchandisers. and other personnel. Maintains strong business relationships; adheres to BUD schedule, completes sales reviews, sell-ins, problem resolutions, management reports, etc. Conducts meetings, training. Must be willing and able to perform functions of all positions within team. Weekend and after-hours responsibilities. CDL and good communication skills required.

 

Off-Premise Coordinator
Management position requiring strong skills in managing and directing people; good communication, organizational and selling skills. Must have excellent understanding of our market and industry, promotional and marketing strategies; some chain knowledge. Experienced in shelf set programs and processes. Some knowledge of computers is beneficial. All applicants will be interviewed.

 

 On-Premise Coordinator

Management position requiring strong skills in managing and directing people; good communication, organizational and selling skills. Must have excellent understanding of our market and industry, with focus in on-premise accounts; ability to analyze market/account needs and develop plans of action. Must maintain strong business relationships with retailers and Anheuser-Busch. Complete job description will be provided upon interview.

 

On-Premise Team Leader
Oversee a Sales team of draft/package salespeople and other personnel. Maintains strong business relationships; adheres to BUD schedule, completes sales reviews, sell-ins, problem resolutions, management reports, etc. Conducts meetings, training. Must be willing and able to perform functions of all positions within team. Retailer entertainment, weekend duty and significant participation in after-hours account promotions. CDL and good communication skills required.

 

Warehouse Personnel
Loading / unloading trucks; operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment; maintain beer inventories and cleanliness of warehouse.

 

Delivery / Merchandiser
Deliver product to accounts using pre-sold orders generated by Pre-Sales personnel; merchandise accounts. Fully responsible for all sales functions in select accounts. CDL required.

 

Bulk Merchandiser
Works independently and with Bulk Delivery-Merchandiser in merchandising grocery chain stores. Responsibilities include rotation, monitoring pricing and shelf space, filling coolers, building/filling displays and other merchandising duties. Break down deliveries and keep back-stock organized. Must be able to run Bulk Route as needed. CDL required.

 

Delivery-Merchandiser Trainer
Responsible for training new Delivery-Merchandisers; ongoing training of current Delivery-Merchandisers; run delivery routes during absences; bulk beer if needed. Must have good applied knowledge of sales and delivery processes; knowledge of handheld software. CDL required. Required to cross-train on various routes, and at times will run routes outside of assigned area if needed. Responsible for training and running bulk routes within assigned area if needed.
